Plush Office Visit Procedures

Overview

We want to continue to provide a safe and low exposure experience during your treatments even though state requirements for Covid precautions have been removed. Keeping our patient’s health protected is still our first priority. At Plush we are happy to be able to offer the most hygienic Botox and/or filler experience available for your safety and peace of mind. Since we are a boutique medspa, which provides only this one service, with only one practitioner, you will usually be the sole person in the office (aside from the doctor) during your visit.

Safety elements that we continue to implement for your protection include: office sterilization between patients, advanced anti-microbial + HEPA air filtration in treatment room, “fresh air” air conditioner with HEPA filter and UV light filtration, extended visit times, physician use of a KN95 mask and sterile hypo-allergenic gloves during procedures, and a sterile field for injection supplies.

Booking

Appointment Times

Please be ontime for your appointment and avoid arriving early or late if at all possible. This is helpful to continue to maintain social distancing but also to ensure privacy and exclusivity of your experience. Many patients have found the policy of having one client in the clinic at a time offers the most peaceful and relaxed experience as well.

Intake Documents and Consents

New patients can fill out intake documents in office. It is also possible to obtain a copy of the new patient paperwork via email request and paperwork can also be downloaded from this website.

Self Pre-Screening

Patients should not come in if they have any symptoms of a cold, virus, bacterial infection, or Covid-19. We do charge late cancellation fees when a client does not arrive for scheduled visits without prior discussion, ideally 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. So please do let us know in advance.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service, in office, with a credit card, cash or check.

Before Arrival

Pre-visit procedures and Preparation

Patients will be seen one person at a time. The extended visit policy (above) should ensure each client is the only person, besides the doctor, in the clinic at any time. Guests and children are discouraged, unless they are an interpreter or other necessary medical assistant. Medical assistants (such as interpreters, brought in by client, if desired) will also be requested to wear a mask if they have any recent exposure concerns.

It is optional but certainly welcome to wear your own face covering or mask, when entering the facility. If you do not have a mask and would like to wear one, a mask will be available.

If possible, please do NOT wear makeup to the appointment. This step will save time and enhance cleanliness/sterility of your treatment. If heavy makeup is worn, the patient may be provided mild cleansing wipes or alcohol wipes and requested to remove the makeup prior to their service.

Upon Entering

Patients may use hand sanitizer or wash hands upon entering. Masks are optional but are preferred if you or anyone in your household has recently had cold or flu symptoms.

If a previous patient is still in the building when you arrive, please take a seat at the “socially-distanced” lounge area until they depart. If you are significantly early for your appointment it is requested that you return closer to your appointment time to allow for optimal privacy and minimize exposure for all.

Again, If you or anyone you have had close contact with have had a fever or any symptoms of Covid-19 please cancel and reschedule your appointment. Symptoms include headache, chills, sore throat, fever, loss of taste or smell, muscle aches. If any of these symptoms are present or have been present in the past 14 days it is requested that you not come in person to the office.

During the visit

Personal Items

Patients are requested to avoid placement of phones, sunglasses, coffee, water bottle, etc on treatment surfaces as this will impact the sterility of the procedure. There are two stools and two hooks available for personal items, hooks and purses. Please avoid placing personal items on the floor.

Procedure

A high-efficiency ultra-fine HEPA filter will be running in the room at all times before, during and after treatment. The provider will wear a mask for the duration of the treatment procedure.

Post-procedure

The provider will wash hands and sanitize all common surfaces, payment devices, pens, and anything else the patient or practitioner has touched between patient visits.
